○ In response to the societal changes spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic and the era of the "New Normal," marked by digital transformation, there has been a growing emphasis on researching Jeonbuk online lifelong education. ○ This study aims to proactively explore strategies for online lifelong education to adapt to these evolving circumstances.

○ This research employs various methodological approaches. The research begins with a comprehensive evaluation of the current landscape of online open courses globally and in the Korean context. In-depth interviews are conducted with lifelong education stakeholders to identify their needs and expectations while assessing the critical prerequisites for realizing the Jeonbuk online education model. Drawing from the research findings and interviews, the study recommends strategies to avoid project redundancy, foster collaboration, enhance community infrastructure, and chart pathways for activating Jeonbuk-style online lifelong education.

○ This study proposes four key strategies to provide a comprehensive framework. First, expanding accessibility aims to make learning opportunities easily accessible to a wider population. Second, enhancing diversity involves offering a wide range of learning paths and topics to respect and support learner diversity. Third, disseminating tradition focuses on preserving and spreading traditional learning methods and resources to enable diverse learning approaches. Lastly, online and offline collaboration seeks to effectively blend digital and in-person learning environments, fostering cooperation to enrich the overall learning experience.

○ A three-phase plan is deemed essential for the progressive implementation of these strategies. Each phase involves setting and achieving goals, ultimately working toward realizing the overarching vision. To ensure effective execution, it is crucial to establish local governance for lifelong education. This governance structure will enhance collaboration and communication among stakeholders, ensuring well-organized project management.
