1. Study Objectives and Methods

○ The specialty vehicle industry is constantly expanding due to emerging countries'development and industrial structure advancements.
○ Jeollabuk-do has strove to develop the specialty vehicle industry as a strategic one, leveraging its strength as a commercial vehicle production base.
○ To develop the specialty vehicle industry in Jeollabuk-do, a comprehensive and systematic policy that considers changes in industry trends is necessary, rather than short-term support policies focusing on infrastructure.
○ This study aims to comprehensively analyze the conditions of the specialty vehicle industry in Jeollabuk-do and to establish mid- to long-term policy directions and tasks for the special vehicle industry’s development. 
○ The analysis framework includes the specialty vehicle industry’s technology, human resources, and infrastructure.
○ To identify trends and analyze the industry’s current status, descriptive statistical analysis was conducted using domestic and foreign market data.
○ Specialty vehicle companies were surveyed to understand the industry's current status and assess demand for support policies.

2. Conclusion and Policy Suggestions
○ To overcome the limits of an overly competitive system without technological innovation, future specialty vehicle technology capabilities must be secured through collaboration between local manufacturers and parts suppliers.
○ To address the specialty vehicle industry’s labor supply issue, revising education programs that consider the technological scope and workforce structure and creating worker-friendly corporate environments is necessary.
○ To aid the growth of specialty vehicle companies, it is essential to build a foundation for expanding into overseas markets and support lowering of production costs through certification infrastructure.
